Welcome to the first devlog for my latest tool at Reptilian Alien Games! I'm excited to introduce my new Audio Clip Manager, designed to streamline audio management in your Unity projects. This tool aims to provide a comprehensive solution for handling audio clips with ease, featuring various functionalities to enhance your workflow.

Features

Here’s a breakdown of the key features I've implemented so far:

  1. Audio Playback Controls: Play, pause, stop, and loop audio clips directly from the tool. Control volume and pitch to fine-tune your audio experience.
  2. Folder Selection: Easily navigate and select folders containing your audio clips. Refresh the folder view with a single click to ensure all your latest files are available.
  3. Search Functionality: Quickly find audio clips by typing in names. The search box is conveniently located below the logo and above the Select Folder button for easy access.
  4. Logo Toggle: Pressing the logo will hide or show the settings for audio source, volume, pitch, loop, and play on awake, making the interface cleaner and more focused.
  5. Sequential and Random Playback: Choose between sequential or random playback modes to suit your needs.
  6. Favorites System: Mark your favorite clips with a heart icon for quick access and easy filtering.
  7. User Preferences and Tooltips: Customize the background color and enjoy helpful tooltips for a better user experience.

Upcoming Features

I'm continuously improving the tool based on user feedback and my roadmap. Here are some of the upcoming features I'm excited about:

  • Multiple Audio Sources: Assign clips to multiple audio sources within a scene, with a toggle to select which sources to use.
